Tip #1- Don't Pray 'n' Spray! Mostly true, if not using a mounted RPD, mounted '249, or shotgun against 2+ baddies, fire in 1-5 round bursts and aim for the chest, lest your enemy be standing still or you have the accuracy of a sniper rifle an inch from its target. Then put a bullet or two through the guy's head. Expanded on this in How to Shoot and Play the Right Way. Tip #2- Duck and Cover! Hide behind anything except cars to stay out of a fire zone. Just don't let anyone see you. In this game you can get shot through a solid concrete wall once and die. It's a humiliating kill. It isn't hard to do, and it happens. Tip #3- Use Claymores! Once you unlock the perk Claymore x2, you can start camping (untrue, but the 'mores make it easier). It is where you sit in an area looking out windows and killing. You put a Claymore where you cannot see one from the outside/bottom. When someone goes BOOOOOOM! from one, replace it with #2. When that one is gone, leave. Tip #4- Shoot Down Helicopters! This is the most annoying thing. There is a helicopter from the enemy team hovering overhead, killing your team. Look who is making it into fireworks? No one on your team!!! You need to shoot these birds down. Quickly. Take an LMG or a RPG and wait until you see it. With an LMG, pretend you have been given the chance to shoot your favorite gun on infinite ammo. With an RPG, wait for the heli to hover. It usually takes 2 hits to bring it down with the RPG. Tip #5- Teamwork! If you hate your teammates, switch teams. Otherwise, at least have one person "Watch your six!" Especially important for a sniper. The other person will spot out the baddies and keep the closer ones at bay. Or use claymores. Only one of them runs out, though. If no one is covering your rear end, camp at the enterance until someone on your teams finds you. Tip #6- Use Your Eyes! Mostly for HardCore mode, but always a useful tip. Some people use a perk called UAV Jammer and put a silencer on their guns (VERY useful strategy). They will never show up on radar, even when they shoot. Most people use a sniper rifle along with this. So, NEVER rely on a radar or UAV. There is always the one sniper that has those things, and you need to actually look and kill him before you end up on the ground watching your killcam. Tip #7- When in Doubt, Camp! Camping, when allowed, is a great way to get kills if you need them and know how. If you are guarding a narrow hall or stairway, plant claymores and pull out a Shotgun or SMG. If you are picking off enemies as if playing Duck Hunt from a rooftop or window, use an AR or a Sniper Rifle. Covering a street? Pull out an AR or LMG and knock their heads off (literally)! Why, do you ask? Well, In a TDM on Crash, I got 22 kills in 5-7 lives in 3 minutes by camping, and same kills in 30ish+ deaths in 7 minutes by running like a chicken without a head. Tip #8- Make Good Classes The most important part to playing well? HAVE GOOD CLASSES. 4 of your classes should suit your gameplay style, and the fifth should be for getting achievements with other guns. If you are like me and try to get to a building and camp there, I have some good classes for you here . Tip #9- Plan your game! Planning your game with you and your team will ensure a victory. In fact, if you are playing on Downpour and are next to an MG with someone on the MG, if an enemy heli comes in, tell him/her to shoot it. True story. However, you can have a very complex plan, involving 3 guys camping out the enemy on Bloc and have people flank the sides (another true story). And finally, TIP #10! Have a good, fast computer/internet. Simple as that. |
