Recipe for Almond Paste for the Skin Natural and Effective! This is used as a remedy for chapped hands and also to beautify the complexion. You will need: pestle and mortar 4 ounces of bleached almonds (crushed) 1 egg white Enough rose water to give the mixture the correct consistency. Directions: Crush the almonds in a mortar using a pestle Add the egg white and beat together. Add enough rose water to give it the proper consistency. Remember, Some people are allergic to nuts. If you are allergic to nuts, do not use any oils or creams that contain any type of nuts , which include almonds! Unfortunately, the cosmetic industry does not state this on the outside of their commercialized containers in stores. If you are allergic to peanuts, do not use this paste! You may end up with horrible hives or worse. I learned this the hard way! I can use the paste, but my daughter, who is allergic to nuts, cannot. She broke out in the worst case of hives after trying this cream! |
