Recipe for Apple Chutney

Apple Chutney Recipe

Ingredients:
6 pounds of tart apples
2 cups vinegar
1-1/2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pound onions
1 pound chopped raisins
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons ground ginger
2 tablespoons mustard seed or 1 tablespoon dry mustard

Pare and core and slice the apples.  Slice the onions.  Cook  apples and onions in vinegar until tender.  Add the remaining ingredients.  Mix well.  Cook slowly below the boiling point for 2 hours.
