Recipe for Apple Pudding Ingredients:
<>Directions:6 Granny Smith Apples 1/2 cup sugar 2 Egg Yolks 1/2 cup sugar salt 2 tablespoons cold water 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 cup chopped nuts Ice Cream or Whipped Cream Pare and slice apples and put into a well greased baking dish with butter. Add 1/2 cup sugar and mix. Bake at 350 degrees until apples almost tender. In a bowl, make a batter of 2 egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar and beat well. Add the water and beat again. Add salt, vanilla, flour, baking powder and nuts. Mix with wooden spoon. Pour this batter over the apples in the baking dish and bake for about 1/2 hour. Check, don't let apples get too mushy. Service with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream! Yummy! Serves about 4... or 2 very hungry kids! >
