Recipe for Banana Butterscotch Dessert

Ingredients:

1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons light cream
3 tablespoons butter
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
4 bananas
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup chopped nuts

In saucepan, place the sugar, cream, butter and vanilla. Stir over medium low heat until the sugar has dissolved and is bubbly (takes about 5 minutes)  In a small serving dish, slice the bananas.  Pour the butterscotch sauce over the bananas.  Top with whipped cream and nuts...Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
