Banana Fruit Bread Recipe Ingredients: 1-3/4 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 2/3 cup sugar 2 small bananas, peeled and mashed 1/3 cup softened butter 2 eggs 1-1/2 ounces raisins 1 apple, peeled and diced 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional) In medium bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together and add the butter and eggs. Mix well. Add the bananas and make sure all well blended. Add the raisins and apple and mix well. Add the nuts if desired and mix well. Pour into a greased loaf pan or bread pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Recipe by Betty Medeiros. This recipe won 1st prize at the Barnstable County Fair in 1988.
