2 cups flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 3/4 teaspoons salt 4 tablespoons sugar 1 egg 1 cup milk 1/3 cup shortening or oil 1 cup blueberries Put the flour in large bowl. Add the baking powder, salt and sugar and mix well. In separate bowl, beat the egg, add the oil to the egg and the milk, and beat well. Add this to the dry ingredients in bowl. Mix with woodend spoon, and do not overmix. Mix only until all the dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in the blueberries. Fill greased cupcake tins about 2/3 full.
