Carrot Loaf Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups grated raw carrots
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons minced green pepper
1 cup boiled rice
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons of bacon drippings
1 tablespoon minced onion

Beat the egg and milk together. Stir in other ingredients. Bake in a loaf pan for one hour in a moderate oven at 350 degrees. You can top with a white sauce flavored with celery. Interesting dish-Some may love it, some may not, especially kids.

A tip for parents:  Want your kids to eat raw carrots and keep asking for more?  Don't buy the carrots in the cello bag.  Buy  the small organic carrots with the greens  till attached.  You may pay about 80 cents more, but the taste is well worth it!  Do the taste taste, and you will see for yourself that buying the bagged carrots are not too good of a deal! Go for the organic carrots, with greens attached! They are always sweet, and it somewhat satisfies a childs craving for a sugary sweet..
