Chicken
Casserole with Onions Recipe
Ingredients:

2-1/2
pound fryers, cut in pieces
2
teaspoons
salt
3/4
teaspoon
pepper
1/4
cup butter
3 cups
thinly
sliced onions
1/2
teaspoon
paprika
3/4
cup water
1/2
cup sour
cream
Wash
and dry the chicken. Rub with salt and pepper. Put in pan
to
broil. Dot with butter. Cook until brown under broiler.
Turn
and cook on the other side. Add onions when chicken is turned,
putting
under the chicken. Put chicken and onions in casserole when well
browned.
Add water. Cook about one hour in slow oven at 300 degrees.
Add sour cream at end. Heat, but do not boil. Serve on hot
biscuit,
