Rose
Kennedy's Chocolate Frosting Recipe
|
Below is a chocolate frosting recipe. It is meant to top a Boston Creme Pie, but I am sure you can use it on any type of cake. Ingredients:
Place the chocolate, butter and milk in the top of a double boiler. Cook on medium low heat till the chocolate melts, stirring frequently. Take the chocolate mixture off the heat and let stand till lukewarm. Stir in the confectioners sugar and vanilla. Mix well until thick enough to spread. You may need to add more sugar. This is a recipe
that was from
Rose Kennedy. It was in a cookbook "Cook Book-Favorite Recipes of
the Ladies of St. Francis Xavier Parish Guild" published in 1969!
