
Shellfish Recipe for Clam Pie Ingredients: 2 cups ground clams 1 pint of milk, and clam juice salt and pepper 6 common crackers, ground 1 tablespoon butter Prepared 2 crust pie, or your own 2 crust pie, unbaked In pot, mix the clams, milk and clam juice, salt pepper, butter and crackers and cook on very low heat. Stir often and bring to a slow boil. Continue to boil and stir until the mixture thickens.. Fill Pie crust shell and top with other crust.. Brush crusts with milk/egg mixture to make a golden brown top crust. Make a few fork pricks on top. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 1 hour. Makes 5 servings.
