Congo Bars Recipe #2 Ingredients: 1 pkg. light brown sugar
1 3/4 sticks softened butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp..baking powder
6 oz. plus semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
In electric mixer,(or by hand) blend butter and vanilla until smooth.  Add light brown sugar and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, and salt together into mixture and blend well. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Add all of the other ingredients. Use large roasting pan (rectangle) or divide batter into 2 smaller pans. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
