The Cast Iron Skillet Cookbook: Recipes for the Best Pan in Your Kitchen

..THE Cast Iron Skillet Cookbook by Sharon Kramis has replaced about 8 cookbooks on my cookbook shelf!   I bought this book about 5 months ago. Wish I had found it before then.  I keep my favorite cookbooks on a shelf in my kitchen...This shelf includes about 30 cookbooks, published from the late 1800's thru the 2000's.    I won't tell you how many cookbooks I do have, but I would guess it would be in the 500-1000 range...Most were published between the 1880's through the 1970's.  Haven't found too many cookbooks published after the 1970's that use simple, all natural ingredients.  Most recipes call for many ingredients, and to feed a family of four, would be cost prohibitive, especially in todays world.

This Cast Iron Book Skillet Cookbook will help you save money, and make your family happy with tasty meals!  My 11 Year Old Grandson's favorite recipe from this book is the Dutch Baby Recipe!  It is so good, so inexpensive to make, only a few Ingredients, like flour, eggs, milk and butter.  Makes a great supper or Brunch..Serve with strawberries, a bit of sugar or whatever you like...I  have figured the cost of this to be about $2.00 to serve 3 people, plus the electricity for the stove and oven..So, make it $3.00 to serve 3. And, from this recipe, it is a healthy meal.   You  have protein from the eggs, calcium from the milk, a bit of fat from the butter, and carbs from the flour!  Serve with the fruit, and you get the picture.

 Nobuyuki Matsuhisa
Every try to make reservations at Nobu Restaurant? Perhaps the best Japanese restaurant in  the world. This cookbook of Japanese food represents the current state of play. Exquisite, expensive, and breathtakingly stylish, this food is designed to impress with its artful simplicity. Perhaps the two most representative dishes are the most celebrated: the New-Style Sushi, in which raw fish is given a sizzling dressing of hot oil; and the beautiful Black Cod with Miso, marinated in sake, mirin, and miso for three days then grilled and baked and served with a single ikebana- like spear of pickled juvenile ginger. Altogether a beautiful production. One of the best sellers this year! Order today at 30% off publishers price!
