Ingredients:
3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup oil
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup orange juice
1-1/2 teaspoons grated orange rind
3/4 cup chopped nuts
2-1/2 cups chopped fresh cranberries
Place all dry ingredients in
bowl. Add beaten eggs, oil, orange juice and rind. Blend
together well.
Fold in the nuts and cranberries. Put in a greased and
floured loaf
pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, or when toothpick
comes out clean.

Ingredients:
2 Cups of Flour
1-1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 orange
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 cups halved cranberries
In a bowl, squeeze orange
juice and remove pits.
Grate the rind and place in the bowl. Add the melted butter.
Mix. Add
enough water to make the liquid mixture equal 3/4 cup.
Add the egg
and mix. Sift in the dry ingredients and mix well with
wooden spoon.
Gently fold in the cranberries and the nuts.
Grease a loaf pan and
pour the batter in. Bake at 350
degrees for about 50 minutes. Cool,
and then slice.
Both
Cranberry Breads Turn out very good.
They use the
basic ingredients, but in varying amounts.
