Recipe for French Onion Soup Ingredients: 6 medium onions butter salt and pepper French Bread Parmesan Cheese (3) Ten ounce cans beef broth Slice onions in rings, than saute in butter in heavy pot. Heat till lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Stir to cook evenly. Add the beef broth to the onions, and simmer 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour into individual crocks.
