Recipe for Hawaiian Spareribs

Hawaiian Sparerib Recipe

Ingredients:
2 pounds boneless spareribs, cut in pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 cup salad oil
3/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon corn starch
1/2 cup diced pineapple

Add salt and Soy Sauce to the ribs.  Heat oil in skillet. Brown ribs. Add flour and stir into oil, then add pineapple juice, salt, sugar, vinegar and water. Simmer until pork is tender, around 40 minutes.  Make a past of corn starch and 1 tablespoon cold water.  Add to the pork mixture.  Add the pineapple. Simmer for about 15 minutes.  Serves 4.. Serve with white rice or mashed potatoes.
