How to Make a Knitting Box

How to Make a Knitting Box

You will need:

1 Oatmeal Box (with Cover)
Pieces of pretty wallpaper
Paste
Scissors
 Round Reinforcements
(like they use on notebooks)
Wide Ribbon
Ball of Yarn

Cut the wallpaper so that it fits around the
oatmeal container perfectly. You want to be able
to cover the entire container.  Next, put paste
on the wallpaper and paste it onto the oatmeal box.
Cut a small hole in the the center of the box cover.

Next, cut a small hole on each side of the box,
near the top (about 1 inch down)
Past the reinforcements on the three holes.

Take some ribbon and and wrap this around
the cover side edge.  Paste this on the cover.

To make the handle, you will use wide ribbon
(about 3-1/2 inches wide)
Put the ribbon through the side holes and
tie a knot at each end inside the container.

Place a ball of yarn inside the container and
pull a piece of yarn through the hole in the
cover. Place the cover back on the box!
Great way to keep your yarn clean!
