Recipe for Maple Fudge-How to Make Maple Fudge


Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 cup of milk

Put all of the ingredients in a heavy pot, and cook until
the mixture forms a soft ball in ice water (about 236 degrees by a candy thermometer)  Stir often.  Remove from heat, and beat until creamy.  Pour into a buttered square pan.

Maple Walnut Fudge Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter or margerine
2/3 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
1-1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups (4 ounces) miniature marshmallows
2 cups (12 oz package) Nestle Toll House Premier White Morsels
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1-1/2 teaspoons maple extract
Chopped Walnuts (optional)

Combine butter, evaporated milk,sugar and salt in medium, heavy duty saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat.  Boil, stirring constantly for 4-1/2 to 5 minutes.  Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, nuts and maple flavoring.  Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.  Pour into buttered 13x9 inch baking pan. (I used a square casserole)  Cool until firm.  Cut into squares. Makes about 50 pieces Makes a nice, creamy fudge!
