New York Brown Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:
6 medium potatoes
Cooking Oil


Pare 6 medium sized potatoes and let stand in cold water one hour. Drain and dry thoroughly.  Cook in deep fat until a golden brown.  Remove and place in roasting pan.  Bake in oven for 20 minutes.

(You will know your oil is the right temperature when it will color a one inch cube of bread golden brown in 20 seconds)
