Party Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients:

2 pounds 85% lean ground beef
1 extra large egg
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1 large can of cranberry sauce
1 package onion soup mix
4 tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper

Mix the ground beef, salt, pepper egg and bread crumbs together in a large bowl.  Use a wooden spoon. With your hands, make small meatballs. After your meatballs are made,  make the sauce. In a large pot, put the cranberry sauce, lemon juice and onion soup mix and mix well.  Add the uncooked meatballs.

Have burner on low heat and simmer  the meatballs for about one hour. Be sure to check that the meatballs don't stick to the bottom and stir with wooden spoon when needed. This recipe should make
enough meatballs to serve 10-15 people (as appetizers) It would serve 6 as a main dish.

The meatballs are good  served alone as an appetizer (put a toothpick in each one) You can also turn  this into a main dish by serving the meatballs over rice and added a salad or vegetable.

Wholesome and Delicious Meals in a Snap

(Family Features) - Putting wholesome food on the table that your family will enjoy doesn't have to take hours to prepare. Registered Dietitian and author, Felicia Stoler, offers some simple recipes and tips on how to add more flavor and nutrition into your meals, making meal prep stress-free and fun for the family.

Keep your pantry stocked and plan ahead. A pasta meal typically takes less than thirty minutes to make. Add some pre-cut fresh, frozen or canned greens as a side dish, and you have a veggie-packed meal.

Include your kids in the cooking process. This is a great way to spend quality time with your children and teach them the skill of cooking. They love to feel like they can contribute to their family, plus - many kids will eat what they make.

Use leftovers for lunch. The Ragú® No Frying Chicken Parmesan is a classic dish that will help you save time. After dinnertime, pack it in a small container or prepare in a hero sandwich for lunch the next day to make less work (and stress) for you in the morning.
