Recipe for Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredients: 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup brown sugar ( used dark brown) 2 sticks unsalted butter 1 cup creamy peanut butter 2 eggs 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 cups white flour In a large bowl, soften the butter. Add both sugars and cream together. It is easier to use a wooden spoon. Add the peanut butter and mix well. Then, add the eggs and mix again. Now, add the soda, salt, and vanilla and mix. Add the flour 1/2 cup at a time and keep mixing. This takes a little muscle power ! I don't use electric beaters.. Roll the dough into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten out the balls by using a fork and making a criss cross. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes and let cool! Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! Almost as good as a Reese Peanut Butter Cup! The cookies are large, so only make 2 dozen. Back to Cookie Recipes Food Fun and Facts has over 900 pages. Use the Menu, or for a quick Search, use the Site Search Bar. Enjoy!
