Recipe for Pecan Pie
Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
3 large eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 cup dark Karo syrup
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup broken pecans
In bowl, place all ingredients except for pie shell.
Using a mixer, mix well and
add the nuts last. Put in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees
for 15 minutes, and turn down
oven temp to 350 degrees and bake for 40 minutes more. Remove
from oven and cool.
