Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon alum -get at a drug store or grocery store (optional)
water
food coloring

Mix the flour, salt, oil and alum together. Add a small amount of water at a time until the mixture has the consistency of bread dough. Add the food coloring. You may divide the dough and make different colors. Store in an airtight container or plastic bag. This will last a long time if you use the alum. Alum is a preservative, usually used for pickling or to stop bleeding when getting shaving knicks. You do not need to
use alum if you want to use the play dough for a short time.
Some people question the safety of using alum, especially if the play dough gets ingested in large amounts.

Edible Play Dough Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix
well. This can be eaten.. However, do not
keep longer than a day, as it does not last.
