Recipe for Quick Sponge Cake

Ingredients:

4 Eggs, separated
1 Cup Sugar
3 Tablespoons cold water
1 Teasoon Vanilla Extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1 teaspooon baking powder

 In a bowl, beat the 4 egg yolks.  Cream in the sugar.
Mix in the water.  Add the flavoring, salt, baking powder and flour.
Mix well  In separate bowl, beat egg whites till stiff and then fold into the above mixture.  Grease a cake pan and put mixture in. Bake at 325 degrees till cake
is firm to the touch and lightly browned.  (check after 20 minutes)
