Recipe for Scallop Stew


Ingredients:

1 pound Bay Scallops
1/2 cup melted butter
1 quart light cream
1/4 teaspoon paprika
dash nutmeg
salt and pepper

Melt butter in top of a double boiler over boiling water.  Add the scallops.  Cook long enough to heat through, about 4 minutes.  Add the cream in a steady stream, stirring constantly.  Bring to just under the boiling point.  Add seasoning.  Serve...Makes 6 servings.
