Recipe for Snow Ice Cream

 Snow Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk or light cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
Pinch of salt

Place the above ingredients in a large bowl. Mix with an egg beater and this will make an uncooked custard.   Now, scoop up a pan of new fallen snow  and mix the snow into the custard. You need to eat this right away!
This will make about 1 quart of snow ice cream!

**Please note: This is an old recipe and snow  was a lot cleaner back in the 50's. Now, snow may be tainted with all sorts of things, even as it falls
from the sky. Also, some people recommend not to use uncooked eggs. If you feel funny about using  uncooked eggs, use your favorite cooked custard recipe, but don't wait till the custard is set.  Do not make eating this a regular habit. But, a treat once or twice a year will not hurt you!  Yummy!
