Ingredients: 1/2 cup milk, warm 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup margarine or butter 10-12 crushed Cardamon seeds 1/2 Cup warm water 2 packages dry yeast 2 eggs, beaten 4-5 cups of flour In a saucepan, scald the milk. Mix in the sugar, salt and butter. Cool. In a large bowl, add the 1/2 cup warm water. Sprinkle the yeast and mix till dissolved. Now, add the warm milk, beaten eggs, cardamon seeds and 1 cup of the flour. Mix well with wooden spoon till smooth. Add enough flour to make a soft, pliable dough. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with clean towel. Let rise until double in bulk (about 2-3 hours) Punch down and let rise again till double in bulk (about 2 hours) Shape into buns or small loaves, and let rise for about 1 more hour. Brush the tops with a beaten egg, then sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
