 Sweet Baked Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

3 large cans of pork and beans
2 slices thick bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1-1/2 medium onions, chopped
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 pound butter
4 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon Accent "MSG"
1/8 of a green pepper, chopped fine
 
Place all the ingredients in a large,heavy pot.
 Cook on a low  heat for two hours, stirring occasionally

Picante Beef & Bean Skillet

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) Pace Picante sauce
  • 1 can (about 15 ounces) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 6 flour tortillas (6-inch), cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Cook beef and onion in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until beef is well browned, stirring to break up meat. Pour off any fat.
  2. Stir in picante sauce, beans and tortillas and heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes or until mixture is hot and bubbling, stirring often. Top with cheese.
