Turkey Soup Recipe
Ingredients: Turkey Carcass Water Celery Carrots Onions Salt Pepper Rice In large pot, fill 1/2 way with water and put in the Turkey Carcass. Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 1 hour. Remove carcass from the water, along with any other pieces of bone or meat. Skim the fat. Separate the meat from the bone. Throw away the Carcass. Now, with your broth clear, add chopped celery, carrots, onions...Salt and pepper to your taste..Heat till boiling and cook until vegetables are tender. When vegetables are tender, add the turkey meat that you took off the bone. And then, add rice ..Some people like a lot of rice..some like a little. I would add about 1/3 cup minute rice, depending on the size of pot you use. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until rice is tende, about 5-10 more minutes. |
